During this week, there were some different moments to highlight. This was the last session for the innovation plan. In other words, through this week the students were going to show their work in class. As this week was also for exams, it was difficult for some students to fulfill the project for this week.
On one hand, with one group, there were some difficulties to reproduce some videos during the class because of the format of the videos, and also there were only three groups that presented their videos. I consider it was difficult to do it during this week, due to the exams, so I opted to give them more time to share their videos in the group that is created for them.
On the other hand, most of them had brought their videos to show them during the class, however, they felt a bit ashamed, they did not want to show them. Besides, there were some technical problems that did not allow to start before. With this group, my assessor applied the exam to evaluate me meanwhile I tried to solve the technical problem. After that, there was no enough time to show all their videos.
To conclude, during this week I could evidence in one way the way that the students perceived what we studied during this fourth term, I actually get impressed with their work, I consider that the students did their best, and that made me feel proud that at least they liked this project that was developed.

The Sixth Week
During this week, it is when I start feeling my confidence and it becomes stronger as the days keep going. Starts to I could fulfill my lesson plans because I could see both groups during this week. For this week I had planned, a presentation about some tips to take into account before doing our video project and developing the scripts. After that, there was a space where students can work as a group and practice before recording in order to figure out different pronunciations difficulties and grammar mistakes in their scripts.
On one hand, with one group, there were some technical problems so in the end there was not enough time for them to work as a group. So, when this group had to practice, they actually worked as a group organizing details related to the project such as the characters, and how the story was going to be developed. Their level of interest was low because they had different assignments to achieve for the same week that the video project.
On the other hand, I was a bit surprised by the other group because the lesson plan was easy to follow without any technical problem. Actually, in the beginning, I thought that developing this plan with this group would be challenging, however, it was the other way around. They were more interesting related to the way of editing a video and how the characters had to participate in the story. It was relevant to figure out the high level of interest related to the project from the students in this group.
Time management has been always one drawback during my classes. Even, that I have heard, that during the class, a teacher should focus on how the students learn instead of how all activities planned are achieved during the exactly plan time. However, at the end of the class, or after some comments from my cooperator teacher and assessor, I have thought that what should be more important, how to manage the time and the number of activities that you can develop, or what the students can learn without time limit. As it is said, it is better the quality and not the quantity.

The Fifth Week
During this week, I realized how the different activities develop inside the school can affect the classes. This week was so moved and I could have classes just with one group. The lesson was focused on listening skills. It was an activity where the students had to listen to two different conversations related to the topic. I could achieve the lesson objective even with some difficulties related to the sound due to the fact that it was the last class and primary finish their classes and it is difficult to control that sound that it is outside the classroom.
It was perceived that the students were not used to those types of activities where they have to identify some words, and even listening to other voice different from that of their teacher. And The class finished and the students felt that there was not enough time to develop the exercise. As it was an activity that I pick it up after the class, I realized that most of them could finish the exercise as I had expected.
After this week, I would do differently the fact to take advantage of the time during the beginning of the class. The Fourth Week
In the fourth week, time management is not improving. As it is common in the school where I'm doing my practicum, during this week I could achieve my lesson plan with one group. The schedule keeps rotating and it is sometimes difficult to see both groups in one week.
On one hand, I organized an activity where students were going to feel motivated, and it was with the idea that they can get an extra point. That’s something really takes students' motivation to a higher level. As it was a two hours class, there was some extra time where I implemented some games as the students did the activities faster than I thought so.
On the other hand, as the activity to motivate students worked with the other group, I decided to implement it to the other group. As I had expected, it worked! That made me feel a bit proud. Because I had always had some problems with this group because I have always perceived a disinterested attitude. However, as everything is not as good as it is expected. There was a moment where the students lost focus on the class. It has been difficult to control this group, and I think it is because I have not had many classes as with the other group.
After this week, I consider improving the quality of activities where I really need to involve the whole students and to motivate them... Besides, time management, how to organize and to take advantage of the time for each activity.

Thaquingar's life
Since I started to study until nowadays I have always thought that education is the key to obtain anything I want and to open the doors that guide you to the future. If anyone wants to have a better future for them and for the next generation, the most important is education. Sometimes, I try to remember my whole educative line, and that brings me some relevant memories that mark my life.
I have vague memories of the first years of study at primary school. As my mother used to teach me at home, I did not know what I had to do there with other children. Actually, that was the first time that I met other children. I started the first grade, it was hard but I could overcome it with some difficulties. However, in the following years, I could build my confidence and I started to be one of the best students during those years. I always received an honor mention for my academic results and for my behavior. As I had realized that my parents felt o proud of me each time I received an honor mentions, so I made the decision that I was going to effort and to do my best in order to make my parents feel so proud of me. In other words, my parents became my motivation to study and to do my best.
The secondary school, I was so nervous to begin the secondary because the high school was further than my parents' home. In the first year, I felt uncomfortable and it was a bit difficult for me to get used to that new school. As I met new people, I had a new friend, but about finishing the year, I realized that I should find friends that support you and not hold from you. In the following years, I became more comfortable, and each year I always received a honor mention for my academic results and for my behavior. As I was considered as one of the best students at high school, I used to feel that pressure that pushes you not to make any mistake because many people believed in me and I did not want to disappoint them. During high school, it was common that teachers asked us about our future studies, and I was not sure what I wanted to study. Additionally, The SENA offered a course for two years before finishing high school. It was a Software Programmation Technique. Everyone started that course, but some months later some of them decided to quit due to the fact that it was demanding at the beginning. I started that course obtaining bad grades and I felt disappointed, I did not want to continue that course. However, I did my best and in the end, I could finish the course. So after finishing m secondary studies I had a Software Programmation Technique.
As I did not want to stop studying, I started a Technique in English at Politecnico Americano. During one year and a half, the time of the course, I always thought about my big motivation which was and is still my parents. After finishing the course, I wanted to go further. I started working in other to save money to pay to enter the university. I prepared in order to present again the ICFES to start university. Fortunately and with the help of God, I could obtain good scores that allowed me to enter the university. As I had made that Technique in Foreign Language, I decided to start the Teaching English Bachelor at Universidad Surcolombiana. Meanwhile, I have studied, I have worked and kept studying in different short courses. Most of them were virtual courses that help me to complement my curriculum. Three of them were in the platform of SENA and one of them with the Politecnico Surcolombiano.

The Third Week
This week, there were high expectations. I had decided to motivate myself to give a class that I would like to receive when I was in high school. Unfortunately, there was a change in the schedule and with one group I had five hours class and with the other just three. 😐😐
On one hand, the first two hours I developed what I had planned; however, as the change of the schedule the time per each class changed too, and I was not aware of it. The ring was ringing out of time so I felt lost because I did not know when the class was about to finish. Besides, I had to implement some unplanned activities related to the topic to take advantage of time. Also, I had that day my first assessor's observation. I was not nervous at all, and I did not figure out when my assessor left. During the next two extra hours, I decided to take a song related to the topic but before I wanted to do some dynamic activities. The students were so motivated, they wanted to participate at the end of the class I felt proud that the students were having fun during my class. They loved the song, all of them did not stop singing. That was a very nice class, as it was an extra activity, I had not thought to do it with the other group but my cooperator teacher suggested me to do it. 😃😃
On the other hand, I changed the lesson implementing the extra activity that I made with the other group; expecting that this group was going to work as the other. However, it was the other way around; they were so talkative, distracted with other subjects, there was a moment where I had to call their attention. At the end of the class, I felt a bit disappointed because with this group I need to do the activities differently the next time. 😞😞

The Second Week
The second week is this second date with reality. During this week I could have only two classes. One hour with the same group from the last week and two hours with the other group. The idea was to finish the class plan and to catch up with the other group. 😶😶
On one hand, with the group that I had already had classes, I felt more confident. I went to the classroom with a better attitude. I could finish the class that I had planned where the students had to organize some pictures according to a reading. This group tends to be noisy but they are respectful, and anytime the activity changes most of them work with a great attitude. In the end, I could achieve the lesson objective. However, I would consider the time management per each activity for the next class. 😊😊
On the other hand, I had my first class with the other group. As it was the first class with them, it was a bit difficult to make me understood. They worked faster and it was easy to follow the lesson plan when there are two hours. There were some extra minutes where I decided to develop an extra activity. I could achieve as well the lesson objective. As this group has a different attitude, I need to find a way to motivates them. I have already noticed the difference between each group. They are two different worlds. I really need to understand how each group works in order to provide them activities where they can feel confident and not stressed. 🤔🤔

The First Week
The first week represents high expectations and tension.There were different events throughout this week which did not allow me to give a class. About finishing the week, I had the opportunity to meet one group and give them a class. 😶😶
I felt nervous but I did not know why if it was not the first time that I had to give a class. It was only one hour, and I had planned a two hours class. It was about a vocabulary class related to food. I really like those warming up activities in which everyone can play in the classroom so as to forget that it is a normal class. I adapted an activity related to the unit and the students really wanted to participate in the activity. That really made me feel more comfortable. Before starting the class, I was wondering if I had to force my voice because there are some moments that my voice is too low. However, fortunately I could work my voice without effort. 😬😬
At the end of the class my cooperator teacher gave me some recommendations to take into account such as to write always the date and to pray before starting the class. Honestly, I felt satisfied with what I did, taking into account that it was the first class. But I would do differently, for instance, to have a more energetic attitude to catch the students' attention and to speak slower in order for me to be clearer.
